Lawyers make on average about $54.21 per hour. Being a lawyer is overall a very safe job. Kindergarten/Elementary Teachers

Some states even rquire a master's degree after they get their teaching certificate. If you want to be a teacher you should have communication skills, creativity, instructional skills, and patience. Employment for teachers is expected to grow 17% by the year 2020. Teachers usually work in a safe enviroment and some even work with police officers in their schools. Did you know that being a teacher doesn't require having that much work expirience?

Brickmasons work very hard to earn their money. The top 10 percent of brickmasons make 78,630+. There are many injuries due to the heavy lifting. To help prevent injuries you should wear the proper gear and if needed a backbrace to help support your back. They usually lay bricks or sidewalks. Most brickmasons work full time,but they also have to take time off if the weather is bad. You dont need much education, but a high school diploma is needed. You have to be creative, physically stong and good at math. There is likely job growth because people always need sidewalks and bricks put in somewhere. Being a brickmason would be cool because you could have the chance to pave a famous persons sidewalk.

Being a drafter takes hard work. They earn $47,880 per year and $23.02 per hour. Drafters work under supervision of engineers or architects. they desgin and prepare plans for using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software. Drafters work full-time and work and average of 40 hours a week. In order to become a drafter, you must have an associates degree. You have to be good at working with computers and reading blueprints. There is not a likely job growth with only 6%, slower than average. You should always have on the proper gear while working.

A Chmeical Engineer is an occupation where you learn to apply your skills and knowledge of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics to solve a problem. They will solve the problem by developing or using Chemicals, fuel,drugs, food, and many other products for many different uses. In order to become a Chemical Engineer you must have a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. This could be a 4 or even a 5 year program. The likely job growth of this job is about 6% which is slower then the national average. Most people would think you would work in a lab your whole life but some actually work in factories as well. These Chemical engineers work to develop safety procedure for the men in a factory for a possible chemical leak or explosion. The safety of the job can be but is not usually threating to a person. You would spend your time working about 40 hours a week like most full time jobs. The median pay is abut $90,300 a year.

My career is an actuary. The average pay an actuary is about $87,650 a year. The top 10% of actuaries make about $160,000 and the lowest 10% make about $53,000. A typical actuary usually has to compile statisical data, estimate the probablity and likely economic cost of an event such as a death, sickness or accident, and design, test and adminster insurance agencies. Actuaries work full time jobs, about 40 hours a week. Most actuaries are safe in an office. However, often times actuaries choose to travel to meet with clients. They have to have a strong background in math, statistics, and business. They must also have an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, statistics, or acturial services. Most acturaries have the special skill of analytical, computers, interpersonal, math, problem solving, speaking, and writing. The job employment in this field is going to increase by 27% in the next 10 years. A fun fact about actuaries is that the job has the fastest employment increase for all occupations.

There is strong and there is army strong. This statement applies to anyone in the military, whether you are a soilder or a technican. The pay in the military ranges on how much you serve and how long you have been serving. The most you can get paid is $15,401 a month if you are a general and the least is a private who gets paid $1,468 a month. In the military,you may take part in many dangerous activites or you can be safer as something like a machine repairer. Two of the typical tasks in the military are participat in combat operations and operate and maintain equipment. In order to enter the military you must have at least a GED, and to be an officer you must have a bachelors degree. Some speacialty skills you want to have in the military are mental preparedness, physical fitness, and readiness. Through 2020, oppurtunites will be ready for qualified people in the military. An interresting fact is that members of the military work in all career fields avaliable to civilians.

An Arcitect makes and average of $72,550 per year($34.58 an hour).
The job mainly occurs in a office with other clients discuss building plans and designs. They plan and design buildings, and spend most time in office discussing with clients the building plans. The average hours of work put in a week is 50, but if a arcitect wants to be at the top, then they have to put in more. The educational requirements are a Bachelor's degree(5 years) or a Master's degree(1-5 years). Important qualities to have as a arcitect are Analytical, communication, creativity, critical thinking, organization, technical, and visualization. From 2010-2020 there is likely to be a 24% growth in arcitecture jobs. A unique fact is that most arcitects ushally never have to touch their work.

This job requires you to observe an animal’s behavior, provide nursing care, administer anesthesia, collect laboratory samples, take and develop x-rays, and perform laboratory tests. Clinics and laboratories must be staffed 24 hours a day. Workers may also have to work on weekends and holidays. For a Veterinary technician, you must have a 2 year associates degree and should attend high school honors biology, science, and math classes.
