My last paragraph was cut off. This is the last few sentences:
It is important to be knowledgeable on grant writing. It is also helpful to have both a medical degree and a Ph.D. Most pharmacologists enter Ph.D. programs to earn their M.D., D.D.S., D.M.D., or D.O. Pharmacologists need communication, critical thinking, data-analysis, observation, and decision-making skills. The amount of jobs from 2012 to 2022 are predicted to increase by 13%, which is an average rate compared to other occupations. In May of 2012, on average, pharmacologists earned $76,980. The lowest 10% earned less than $41,340, while the top 10% earned more than $146,650.

Film / Video editors, and camera operators make themselves a good living for what they do. They make a good 22.25 per hour and 46 grand a year. The reason i find this interesting is that my uncle does the same thing and i thought it would be cool to do the same thing. Basically what they do is they get footage or some type of footage, and use some type of video editing software to edit it. In addition to editing, an editor can also meet up with celebrities and help them out with what they want done. Camera operators have both an easy yet hard job that they are responsible for. When they film, it is important they get the best shot they can get. It is important that the sun isn’t in their eyes, they get a good shot at what they are recording, and their steady when they are holding the camera. Most importantly, its good for the video editors to do a good job at what they are editing. When editing, if their is a flaw, you're at risk of losing your job. It is important they take their time and look at every detail precisely. The reason being is that if they edit a music video for Katy Perry and there's a flaw, millions of people will see it. The software editors use is mainly sony vegas and adobe after effects. It takes about a few weeks of learning to master these types of software.
Next, if i needed to have a part time job to make money, it would be to be an umpire or referee. This job would be a fun job to me because i would be an official for something i love doing. No matter what sport, an official has the same task, to make sure the players play by the rules and to stop fights and arguments from happening. Also without the proper equipment, it can be dangerous to be a sport official. They can get hit with a baseball, hit with a hockey puck, or even tackled on accident in football. Now, Learning the basics to being a sport official is easy. Basically, what you need to know is geometry and angles. Its all about being in the right angle and getting a good view of the play, you want to be in the right spot at the right time. If you miss some of the play or miss something that happens, you better hope another umpire or referee saw it or that's a strike against yourself. I believe that for this job, you get paid more than what you make in a year. Sports officials make about 23,000 per year and they hire 17,000 new people each year. Sports officials job outlook is 8% and thats about as fast as average which is good. In order to be a Sport official, you new to have your high school diploma or equivalent to it. Training is quite simple, a higher sport official will tell you what you need to do for the certain sport and they will go over the basics with you. The big reason i want to be a sport official is for the fact that it would be a fun easy job and you learn things you wouldn't know playing on the field.
Last, if i wanted to choose a job more towards paying side, i would choose to be a elementary school teacher. I’ve been in school for 12 years if you count preschool and kindergarten and i think it would be a lot more fun to teach then to learn. For teaching, you need to have good communication skills, work hard to teach and grade tests, and to simply be good with kids. I think teachers get paid more than i think they should be but it is what it is. They make a good 53,000 a year and if u want to be a teacher, they higher faster than average so your chances are higher. Although, a lot of teaching jobs get changed each year. About 188,000 teaching jobs are changed each year. I don’t know if that means a lot of those teachers are fired or they get moved but i think thats just a little many. To be a teacher, you're going to need a bachelor's degree and an internship while training. Its much easier teaching elementary school kids then high school or college kids. All you teach is mainly math and reading and the kids in elementary school are easier to teach in general. A teachers work environment is in school 95% of the time and the rest of the time is at home grading tests, homework and stuff like that
