Actors and actresses have a very stressful job. With an average wage of only $17.44 per hour with long, irregular hours and a job increase of only 4%, actors lead very stressful lives. Most actors only need to complete some college and do not need degree. Typical tasks for actors include: reading and memorizing scripts, auditioning for roles, rehersing for the part, researching their characters, and performing their part. Actors need to have a variety of skills. They must be creative with interpretting character feelings and motives, and they need fast and accurate memorixation skills. Most acting jobs require great physical stamina, and excellent reading and speaking skills. Sadly, most people who dream of becoming actors only ever perform in small venues, or commercials. Some actors never even make it onto the big screen, or never even perform to the public.

Police and detectives get paid around $55,000 per year ,and about $26.00 per hour. In total there were about 800,000 police and detective jobs given out in 2010. You must be atleast 21 years old and atleast have a high school diploma. Although a college degree is most acceptable. Police officers and detectives have to go through intense physical training. They are also trained in using fire-arms and close quarters battle. Officers and detectives have the most important job. They have to protect and save lives. They also arrest the people who put other lives in danger. The career they chose has the most injuries and fatalities out of all the jobs in America. Detectives and agents will spend years on a specific case if they get attached to a case then they won't stop it is what they are required to do. Many times it disturbes the agent emotionally and even when the case is dropped by the court they will continue to research the case and arrest the right person. This job is one of the most challenging in America.

It is a full time job with a considerable amont of overtime hours. The job's outlook for the next ten years is 21 percent. Some skills you should have are dexterity, customer-service, mechanical. Being detail oriented is very imporant. Sometimes there is only a minor, eays to miss errors that are hard to see. A typical machinists made about $39,910 per year so that would be about $19.19 per hour. They usually work regular business hours that are full time. Overtime is very common. Many manufacturers run machines for long hours at a time so evening and weekend work is common.
So typical tasks are working off of blueprints and sketches. They use CAD or CAM files to read and make things on the computer. They also set up, operate, and tear down manually, automatic, or CNC machines. They turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind machine parts they are making. Some special skills they need are math and computer skills. Stamina is important because they stand for long periods of times on their feet and doing vigorous movements for long periods of time.
Safety Information about machining, it is generally very safe in the shop but there is always the risk of flying metal. It may get inside of the eye and have to get removed. Also working around moving machinery can always be hazardous. They always wear safety glasses and ear plugs to dampen to noise around them.
You do not need very much education to do this job. A high school diploma or community collage education or even hands on training. Also likely job growth is a little slower than average. From 2010 to 2020 jobs in this field will grow 7%. Also machinists are in severe shortage and many manufacturers are looking for them to hire.
